Hey Maki! I was wondering. Do yourself and other TJPW wrestlers get stopped on the street for photos in Japan? I would think the culture in Japan is they’re more respectful and don’t approach you. And have you got a lot of people in America coming up to you now outside of shows? Have you been getting recognized more? Does it bother you to be approached like that? Just curious now that Maki is a Indy sensation in America. 😋 Hope you’re having an excellent week! 💕💕

🎀 If you can afford it, I would suggest upgrading your airplane seat. Sitting in an economy seat for 10+ hours is hopeless. Or take sleeping pills. And always get an aisle seat. You can always go to the bathroom.

🎀 Frozen food! I did find the food better in Japan, but the quality is high in the US too!

🎀I would like to experience once what wwe practice like. But just once. I probably won't be able to keep up.

I recently found the full match from ddt in 2013 where you made your ddt debut as part of linq. Since you stood out the most i wondered if that was planned. And why had the costumes the american flag on it?

🎀 It is a long story to explain.
First of all, Hiromu Miyamoto's entrance music was sung by a group called Kishidan. The group called "Binetsu Danshi" was the back dancers for Kishidan. They all had regent hair and American-colored costumes, so we mimicked them. I can say this now, but I hated those costumes lol. But it had a strong impact, and I think it was necessary for them to be remembered on that big stage.

🎀 I stopped when people started sending me creepy things and complaining about not getting replies. My job is a professional wrestler and onlyfans is just a sub. So fans who don't like it can leave and I don't chase those who leave.

Coming off a top year for you, what are your favorite parts of 2023? Also, wrestling related, but what do you think is the hardest part of going from trainee to someone whose working shows? I've been in the slump with making my way to debut with me not having a character/gimmick

🎀 I guess being able to compete with so many different people. match with nick gage in Los Angeles and meeting matt cardona was really the top of 2023.
I think it is hard to gain popularity in the beginning.
I think gimmicks are fine after the basics are in place. It is embarrassing to watch doing irregular things without having a grasp of the basics and rhythm of wrestling.
Visual appearance is also important. Cleanliness, of course, but also paying attention to hair and smell, and costumes should not be tacky.
Maybe to become popular, you should be aware of becoming a wrestler who doesn't wear anything like anyone else.

🎀 I don't know about that. I'm basically not good at communicating with people. I like to be alone. I have no desire to be liked. It's too much trouble to get along with others. But when I say that, I may seem to be talking calmly. I only want to be liked by people who like my unpretentious self.

NikumanItoh-chan! What are your favorite pro wrestling moves to use and what are some moves you would like to learn in the future?

🎀I like brainbuster and ddt. I also like unusual submissions. I want to learn piledriver, Michinoku driver, and if I had the courage I would like to learn tope. I'm afraid to do it because I might get hurt. 😱

what's the best way to stay motivated for a workout? i always find myself dropping schedules i set for myself before i hit any goals

🎀 Maybe this is just me, but I train with the motivation of not wanting to be fat.
My current shape is the best for me, I can move easily and wear clothes I like.

I think it will be a wonderful life memory. Because I already think so!
Japanese people are very shy towards foreigners. Not to foreigners, but also to Japanese people. Think of this place as 80% shy. Hugs are not allowed in greetings.
However, we are not dry by any means. We open our hearts little by little. So please be patient and communicate with us. We are just shy.

🎀 What I like best is a match where I get beat up by someone very strong. I like to be beaten up, not in an equal match with an equal opponent. Maybe I am a masochist lol
