LONG POST ALERT ‼️ But if you want to get to know us better ..

LONG POST ALERT ‼️ But if you want to get to know us better I promise it's worth the read 🥰 Many Redditor's and content creators reach out to us asking about how we got started on Reddit and how we have managed our success with the platform. In fact, many of you reading this post right now came from Reddit! As a milestone this month we hit 4 mil karma and 500k followers. We are so very proud of that and appreciate you all for getting us to that milestone! Reddit can also be an interesting place, but we appreciate a platform that still allows NSFW content. *RIP Tumblr* 💀 Why bring all of this up? Well, today we had a post come down with an interesting comment from the moderator: “Yet another re-post from an obvious OnlyFans creator.” As a moderator of a handful of subreddits ourselves, we don't want to be part of or participate in a subreddit that doesn't want us because we are OF sellers; doesn't matter the size or popularity of that subreddit. As such, we responded with the following: YDC: "Do you not want OF creators posting in your subreddit? Furthermore, do you have a no re-post rule? This post was from 30 days ago so we did a re-post. Some subreddits have a no re-post before 30 days and others 60 days rule. We see no such rule listed in your "Community Info" or the "About" sections of your subreddit, but if you simply don’t want us posting in your subreddit, we will gracefully bow out…" The moderator wrote us back with a pretty negative attitude towards content creators (you can see that below), but furthermore presented the question to us of, "Why is posting in this sub important to you?" It's actually a great question and as such we really started thinking about it. Below is our response. I hope this interaction gives you some insight into who we are as people. So, D and I are cheers-ing to this with a glass of bubbles. Feel free to let us know your thoughts below! XOXO Goodnight 🥂 ~BG & D MOD Question: "Just curious - why is posting in this sub important to you?" YDC Response: "That is a great question. We have been posting in this subreddit for almost 3 years now. When we get together with other couples, singles and content creators its authentic and real. We never make content just to make content. Sometimes we are talking to the people we collaborate with for months or even a year in one case before we ever get together. We do this so that when we finally do meeet up in person it's so natural, comfortable and the sexual chemistry is strong, which really comes out in our content. This subreddit is specifically about swinging and for many people that is a goal or desire in their current relationship or for future relationships. Thru our content we show what is possible in a swinging or threesome scenario when everyone is authentically enjoying themselves and are all on the same page and comfortable with each other. We are very proud of that! Compared to other subreddits that may have a theme of masturbation or blowjobs, this subreddit is entirely about swapping and enjoying other people outside of a normal monogamous relationship. Our number 1 goal with our OnlyFans account is to create a safe space for others to explore their sexuality and desires and we do that by utilizing subreddits such as yours." YDC Question 1: "Do you not want OF creators posting in your subreddit?" Mod Response: "Not really, no. They've basically taken over the sub and we're kind of sick of it. People are really sick of the constant OnlyFans promos and users. We do not want to be yet another boring OnlyFans creator sub." YDC Response: "I totally understand that. I also mod a handful of subs and the blatant promotion is not okay. It's a shame that a large majority of content creator/sellers are leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth by only caring about how much money they make, but conversely there are Redditor's that are creator/sellers who put out amazing content and wish to cultivate community like we do. In fact, I did a search on your subreddit for the top posts of all time. The owner's of these posts are all content creators/sellers. OF Content creators put out some of the best content on Reddit along with non-sellers whom also put out amazing content and there is plenty of room for everyone. We receive messages from couples daily thanking us for being bold enough to post our videos saying, "You have inspired us to try XYZ" or "You have taught us that we can be more outgoing and explorative, etc". That should not be pushed aside simply because we have an OnlyFans. People want human connection and that is our goal, which clearly translates through our content when we post across different subreddits. We are advocates for a lifestyle wherein we promote how to achieve said lifestyle and/or relationships where most people don't even know where to start or feel too afraid to explore because they have been told it's bad and wrong their whole lives. There are a handful of subreddits in the past year that have completely steered away from OF content creators and those subreddits are no longer what they were. Redditors that are on the platform who are just there to view porn and not purchase from OF content creators have stated that fact. There needs to be a balance. I understand the frustration, but please don't cut out a whole population of people simply because of the fact that they are sellers with OnlyFans accounts. Do make your rules more stringent to cut out the awful sellers that are contributing to the deterioration of the subreddit." YDC Question 2: "Second, do you have a repost rule?" MOD Response: "Yes, don't repost old content." YDC Response: "Continuing from the paragraph above, if you don’t want spammy users (those awful sellers that I mentioned earlier that are ruining the experience for everyone), then make specific and clear-cut rules so that they can’t post. Implement bots that take down reposts so you as a mod don't even have to manage it. The subreddits that we mod have rules explicitly laying out the do's and don'ts for posting. For example: re-posts are fine after 30 days. Or don't repost the top 10 posts of the month. You may know in your mind that you don't want re-posts, but if your rules don't clearly and definitively state that in the "about", "rule" and "community info" sections then people are going to go ahead and do the things you don't want them to do like re-post. Then when you take content down or ban Redditors for an invisible and arbitrary rule, it is very disconcerting. But, at the end of the day this is your subreddit and you are welcome to do as you please. Thank you for responding and allowing open communication... Warmest regards, YourDreamCouple
