Added 2021-06-01 20:22:34 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend and the Brits here enjoyed their very sunny bank holiday weekend and the Americans had whatever would be the appropriate emotional response to your memorial weekend and anyone else who also had some sort of Monday holiday, happy that thing! I am feeling much much better! Thank you for all the messages of concern; I can report I did not die of my cold, and I am 99% back to “normal”. Over the weekend a post by a man with MS did rather well on Reddit; it was about his journey to walking again. I contacted him so we could share notes and I could find out where he focused his work when he was where I am now. He talked about working towards lifting his feet from a sitting position. The videos I have shared here are my attempts to do that, though I am mostly almost lying down rather than sitting. For one I am almost sitting with bent knees and for the other ones my legs are straight. But this is the best I can do and I wanted to share it today as a baseline so we can see where I am in a few weeks time! Apologies for the rather pasty looking legs and the bruises, I’m afraid they come with the disability! Wishing you all a beautiful Tuesday!
