Added 2021-06-22 20:39:43 +0000 UTCI really meant to post something yesterday and something today but to be honest I have done literally nothing for several days. Because this evening I had an MRI with contrast and to be honest, I have been terrified. My neurologist spent quite a long time insisting that I had to be on certain medication and then when I last saw him last he agreed with me that I should come off the one that I was on because of the horrendous side-effects and said he wanted to do an MRI before deciding if I should try a different drug. He seemed to think that it wouldn’t be worth trying anything, but I really don’t know what that means, they are supposed to help so why won’t they help me? Also, one of my biggest phobias is of allergic reactions and the contrast they use for these MRIs can have a devastating allergic reaction. I’ve had it once before but it is often the second time you have it that you can have that reaction and, quite possibly, die. So I have been very preoccupied with thoughts of my impending death. I can confirm though that I had my MRI and I have not died! I do have to drink a lot for the next 24 hours though so I don’t screw my kidneys as the contrast moves through my system.
