It’s been a while since my last fitness journey update.

A couple weeks ago, I weighed in at 182 lbs, I’m 6’1”and was probably around 215-ish lbs at the start this past June. I didn’t cheat too much over the holidays and never skipped my workouts. It feels so good to see the progress made over the past 6 months. I have been working out pretty much 5 days per week, with very few missed days. I feel good, I feel like I look good, with a good boost of mood and confidence, but there’s still more work to do. Still focused on obtaining my six pack, but now the ratio is less cardio and more strength training compared to the first couple of months. I have been learning new kettle bell exercises to mix into my routine and try to keep things fresh.

Pic on the left was today. Pic on the right was from July 1st when I was only one month into mostly just cardio workouts. Before my chest muscles were almost gone and slowly turning into Moobs. Now, I’m noticing better definition. It was nice to one day realize i had my chest muscles coming back, had a decent solidness to them, and the best part, no trace of developing man boobs.

All this, combined with eating healthy and getting good sleep. At 42, and 43 around the corner, I can say I’ve never felt better in my adult life. A lot of my aches and pains in my back and neck are pretty much gone most of the time now. Great improvements in many ways to the quality of my life. Wish I started this many years ago, it makes me feel like a different and better person.
