Added 2023-03-22 23:13:24 +0000 UTC🌙 Dear Diary 📚 🎨 I uploaded some pictures of some of the art I have in my house because I thought maybe you’d like to see it :> I actually really like Antiques, it’s a super big hobby for me that I’ve gotten into! There's just something so magical about owning a piece of history that has stood the test of time. 🕰️ It’s one of my favourite things to do when I’m not working ;3 i’m surprised I haven’t talked about it before but i just.. dunno.. thought it might make you bored :s But.. ur getting a diary about my lil fun antique adventures adventures today anyway 😈 I really fall in-love with things deeply and get so attached to them. Sometimes I feel like I may have met the person in the painting in a dream, or it just gives me a whimsical feeling that I can't quite describe. i just really love imagining where they have been and who’s owned them in the past and what stories they made up about the painting. like there journey through time.. it’s so cool to imagine where they were before or who’s used, seen or touched them.. it’s kinda magical. Like a portal into the past ^-^ interpretation and story telling is all apart of the fun ☺️ it's also a very hands on experience about learning about history, because there's so many hidden details of why certain furniture pieces were designed the way they were! For example I learnt that in the 17th century there were no such things as safes to keep valuable belongings such as scandalous love letters, confidential business documents or maybe just expensive jewels so they designed normal looks desks/cabinets with the most elaborate secret compartments, almost like the Japanese puzzle boxes. You'd be amazed at the thought process and the sheer length that those craftsmen went through to hide secret compartments in a seemingly total normal piece of furniture. I think you could be put in a room with it for a full day and if you weren't told HOW to unlock it... you'd never figure it out. I wish we could bring these back! I do drive some of my friends a bit crazy because i’m always asking them to come to antique shops and shows with me where i can basically root around every shelf for hours on end looking at eveything from lil trinkets to big bookcases lul ;3 It’s soooo much fun aha 😣 it feels a bit like treasure hunting :> u can find so much good stuff!! 😮 So if u ever wanted to take me on a date, please please please take me somewhere old and cool so i can fall in love with everything. It just feels like such a fun place to escape to :3 or fun things to have! So yea >.> sometimes i do spend a lil on wonderful artwork but its just so special.. it makes me my happiest ❤ Maybe I'll even wear a little white dress so that when I climb up to reach something wayyyy up high you'd be able to catch a glimpse of what cute panties I was wearing that day;) There is a giant antique store near mine, and the house the store is in feels like.. a giant victorian mansion from a series of unfortunate events. The inside is a huge castle with a giant victorian greenhouse attached to it.. it has cabinets upon cabinets of curiosities and giant statues. I only know this because I've visited them so many times and they invited me to tour their amazing mansion! It’s so crazy! 🥲 This isn't actually the first time I've been invited to tour an antique owner's personal house and their private collection. if you spark up conversation with them and regularly visit them you'd be surprised how engaging and welcoming they are with you, and if you ask politely enough some of them are more than happy to let you look inside their house. They always keep the best antiques for themselves of course... and I can't blame them one bit! I feel like i could get lost for hours there just looking through stuff 💚 I wonder if you guys think that this is a really odd and random hobby for me to have. I can understand that by the way I look I don't really seem like I'd be into this kinda of thing, but hey- I've actually got a lot of surprising things you still don't know about me yet. I'm sure I'll tell you about them all soon ❤ ❤ -Love your belle
