She brushes her hand across your frozen cheek. “You’re still cold to the touch,” she says, looking concerned. “We’ve got to get you warmed up…” She moves to stand at the foot of the blanket nest, bathed in soft candle light, and begins to slowly strip off her clothes. Keeping eye contact with you, she smiles softly - and somehow you feel perfectly safe. “Don’t worry, I’m here to help you. When people get lost in these mountains and snow storms blow in, it’s easy for things to take a turn for the worse quickly … I could see you shivering in the cold. You found this place for a reason. I’m here to make sure you stay safe … and skin to skin will warm you faster than anything else.”
