Did you know that one of my training camps, I tore both of my quads while running sprints after a hard practice?
I couldn’t pull out of the fight, but I couldn’t run anymore, so I had to do all of my cardio and weight cut over jump rope! My legs would allow me to bounce but not stride.
I had to do 45 minutes twice a day with a 2 lb jump rope, if you’ve ever done this you know how hard it is. It was the only way I could let my thighs heal while still getting ready for the fight.
The silver lining is that now I can still go forever on a jump rope.
I mess up here and there but gets the job done ✔️
