I was really surprised by how much people liked this character! She was meant to be a silly one-off design, something I did to spice up the variety of twi'lek looks in my portfolio... but I think she might be one of my most popular costumes! So I've been thinking a lot about doing her again, and what I'd wanna do differently next time to make it new & interesting. I came up with some backstory, too: D'Shalla is a singer for a cantina on Coruscant known as the Kyber Rose Cantina. The club is a very classy, upscale establishment that caters to a lot of wealthy individuals - sometimes even senators stop through for some illicit entertainment. The club's owner (Alyra, another twi'lek that I cosplay and make stories about) is secretly a powerful crime boss, and the cantina is a front for her backroom deals. But D'Shalla doesn't know anything about that. She's here because it pays good and Alyra treats her employees very well. D'Shalla is... kiiind of an airhead, a little ditzy, but she's very sweet, and can belt out a tune with the best of them, bringing in plenty of business each night just to listen to her on stage.
