I see something symbolic in the second picture. It reminds me of Jouissance - this difficult to pronounce french word stands for extreme pleasure, even overdose of it. It's the kind of pleasure that hurts, yet you crave it with every cell in your body. Like a smoking habit, or an affair that you feel ashamed of, yet can't stay away. It's masochistic kind of pleasure, too good that it's start to hurt. Yet pain and consequesces don't make it less desirable.
