A friend who is an injured US military vet who is on permanent disability needed some help.
She wrote-
I'm so embarrassed to ask, but could you spare me $100? It makes me feel like total sh$t for even asking🥺 It's just been especially difficult for the past two months because the food pantries have been closed, so we basically have no food 😢 And any food pantry that is open, has restricted eligibility to people who have lost their job due to COVID-19. And you have to bring documentation proving you lost your job, so we're not eligible for any food right now.
