I had a misfire on the first clean attempt, failed on bench at 372 so reduced to 370 and still had to use a mid-rep re-rack to complete the set of 2. Sometimes you have to just accept the struggle, take note, and try it again next time. As long as you put the work in, the results will follow. But results aren’t always as expected or on our terms! PS I followed this strength work up with a nice progressive burnout workout for biceps curls and triceps pressdowns… 3x4 sets for each body part, increasing the weight each time I reached failure.
