Finding balance as a content creator can often be challenging. It’s easy to fall into the mindset of “I can't relax too much, I need to create content” or “I need to photograph/post this” while you're out having dinner with friends, on a walk, or doing anything else. You get the idea.
This is something I've been actively working on over the past few months—giving myself downtime where I’m not focused on work, social media, or creating content. Setting a schedule can be really effective, as can finding hobbies unrelated to your work. For example, I love hot yoga, especially since they don’t allow phones in the studio. Win-win! Spending time in nature, practicing mindfulness, and being present also help. It’s important to really listen when you're in social settings, whether you’re with friends, family, or even talking to a stranger. 🙌
Of course, this mindset doesn't change overnight. It takes about 30 days to build a new habit, whether it’s learning a skill, working out, or walking regularly. You have to step outside your comfort zone to start enjoying it. Try new things. I’ve met so many wonderful people this way, and I’m excited to see what new adventures await, simply by being present and open to new experiences.
Anyway, happy Monday! Alice and I kicked off our week with a hot, sweaty yoga session—such a great way to start another beautiful week ahead. 🤭✨
