Added 2023-07-23 20:57:42 +0000 UTCA sucker for a little devastation 🌪️ Last week I started working again in the same town that I used to do open mics around…and I happen to conveniently get off work thirty minutes before sign-ups start. I did so many after my dad passed away last year, but that only lasted about a month or so before my best friend passed away and I haven’t gone to one since. He was my biggest supporter when it came to music. I know he’d want me to do them so yesterday I picked up my guitar for the first time in literal months, and started to play along. I have SO MUCH to work on before I could even feel confident enough ti perform again. But hey, you gotta start somewhere 💓
