I seem to have accidentally found a group of real life feeders and foodies but in the form of people who’re part of a type of botanical society - the type of people who say things like, “you can tell the species apart because the girth of this one is thicker around the base” (I’m leaving out the Latin and Greek names that they mention, but you get the idea, meanwhile my mind is so deep in the gutter it’s just stuck on, “thick girth” and thicker 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, there were about ten types of cakes, I was encouraged to take leftovers home and I ate about ten times more than anyone else at the party. I was struggling to walk normally by the time I left and everyone seemed impressed with my healthy appetite and willingness to take one for the team, in terms of filling containers up with pies, cakes etc. I had one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had in my life. The feast is about to continue.
