Talking about my tattoos! Sorry this was way too hard to record for some reason. I am sorta high and the rambling was intense. (Looking back after I wrote this and so is it also here. I’m sorry 😕 I’m not sure if this is interesting or not. I guess I love learning about them and so for people who do too, here’s more information than you asked for.) Anyway here are some of my tattoos. I have like roughly 17-20 not totally sure. My very first tattoo is this quote on my left forearm, “The rest matters not.” I got it when I was 18. I wanted this from the age of 14 when I found it in a book of poetry in a garage sale my parents had. It was the inscription, and it was also a line from a poem in the book. Idk it means all sort of things to me so think of it however you want. The cups are just my thing I love the concept of like community and pouring into one another. Distant left side is a line, “YES! To the eternal” from my favorite poem. There’s wheat, a phalaenopsis orchid, and girls bathing in a pond together. Because I love women and I love bathing with them in bodies of water like that’s exactly it. “Always for Love” from “This Must Be the Place.” The moon from the very first manga panel that Shinobu appears in. A strand of pearls. Oh most of you don’t know this but I grew up in a commune, and we had lots of star Jasmine growing. One time I had a tattoo planned but decided last minute I hated the design. Got star Jasmine instead. Thankfully it was a gracious artist and I apologized a lot and tipped her plenty lol. A portrait of Tammi Terrell that I booked while tripping intensely on psilocybin. I love a tragic woman. Oh and my ship!!! I am HEAVILY into sea travel. Well all forms of transportation really. I’m very into geography and I’m very direction-oriented in general, it’s one of the things I have the easiest times understanding. And ships I find incredibly romantic and I love nothing more than being on boats lol. Tis truly my happiest time. This is a Salvador Dalí painting, Butterfly Ship. It’s a beautiful concept and a beautiful execution. I got it while I was watching One Piece, writing a history paper on piracy, and craving seafaring. My second tattoo is hard to see. It’s a heart on the back of my arm. It says “my heart” in Korean, from the movie Juhong geulshi. Anyway so those are the ones in these photos. Sorry I just can’t be brief it isn’t my nature I’m so sorry from the bottom, top, and all corners of my heart.
