So little fun fact about the origin of “Dr Perry.” “Perry” is my favourite in-game character from my favourite mobile game called Crash Fever. The character is actually based on a real life Stephen Joseph Perry who is an astronomer. I also called one of my first adopted kittens this because he was extremely feisty, powerful & strong much like the in game character. Also.. it’s based off my foreign name which has a very similar pronunciation. So you’ll be surprised that both my clientele, some friends & family all call me by the same name :P. The counterpart to Dr Perry made by myself is “Dr Box” (my partner). I used to foster cats (about 10 now) & finally chose to adopt a kitten for once because my living conditions finally stabilised... except he quite literally refused to leave the box he came in. So I named my first cat Box. Also when I was thinking up my stage name, I was choosing between: (Stephen Joseph) Perry: astronomer & awesome in game character. (Marin) Mersenne: a mathematician, see “mersenne prime numbers) & Mobius: full name “möbius strip” which is a one sided loop surface. & You might be wondering what the fuck? It’s interesting because only 3 dimensions can be realised. See diagram on internet for further details. Anyway pretty much all the names I brainstormed at the beginning of my career stemmed from scientists/game characters. & the “Dr” part is obvious LOL. Have a good night!
