As I hit the road and headed out into the Australian outback, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and adventure. Exploring the vast and rugged landscape was truly a one-of-a-kind experience, but I must admit that it can also be quite lonely out there. Thankfully, there were plenty of stops along the way to break up the journey. It's funny how some distances are measured by the number of McDonald's restaurants in the country, but don't worry, there were plenty of other places to grab a bite to eat. One thing I did notice was the lack of rest stops, but that only made the ones I did come across even more special. One night, I was lucky enough to find an isolated rest stop and took my time to soak in the serenity and peacefulness of the Australian bush at night.
