Added 2024-04-15 17:20:01 +0000 UTCI went to the dentist today. I didn’t have dental insurance or access for the almost 10 years I was with my abusive ex. I wasn’t allowed to spend money on myself like that since dental work can be expensive. Then I kicked him out during the pandemic, when it seemed like no one went to the dentist unless it was an emergency. I moved to a different town & recently a filling fell out of my molar & developed a cavity. After referrals from my awesome doctor, I now have an amazing dentist who is honestly so hot that I had a hard time concentrating on anything except how his thighs were touching my arm/shoulder as he stood over me to check the problematic molar today. I’m seeing him again on Monday for the new filling & have a regular cleaning scheduled in six months. I’m so proud of myself for taking the time & money to invest in my health. It feels so good. Also I am apparently a very good flosser who hardly had any plaque & has happy gums even though it’s been a decade plus since my last professional cleaning. Go me!!
