Fast forward to today, and she's a great friend and practically a sister from five states away. We've both been dealing with some IRL crap that's stymied both of our respective creative streaks, if not fully induced clinical depression. Of course, when she told me she was going to be visiting another friend just a couple hours away and wanted to know if I was close enough to shoot, the only logical answer was "fuck yes." We threw some ideas back and forth, ultimately settling on artsy-fartsy shenanigans with prisms, sun flares, and smoke bombs.
