Sorry I've been a bit MIA, but here's some details on what was happening.
***FYI: The following paragraph may be a little gross to anyone who doesn't like hearing about medical/health issues, and the tl;dr is that my dog was at the vet but is healing now. If you don't want the details make sure to skip the next few paragraphs until the next bolded section lol.***
Over the last week, my dog ended up in the vet for a non-emergent but semi serious issue. It really threw us for a loop, and was extremely expensive to get fixed, which only added to our stress of course. Vet bills are never fun.
Luckily, we have a fantastic vet and she was really caring and understanding. We've had our pup for nine years, and she is my baby so I was really distraught and stressed out, and ended up with a migraine due to the stress + the heat (we were under heat warning as well the last little while).
Thankfully our dog is okay, and hopefully will remain that way. She's on antibiotics and anti inflammatory pills and fingers crossed it shouldn't happen again. We are just still keeping an eye on her and trying to help her heal.
***Thank you guys so much for being so patient with me, it means a lot. I still plan to do the birthday pics for you guys - my birthday is ONE WEEK AWAY!!! on the 28th, and I'm hoping to get those finished tomorrow and sent out this week! :) It's just been such a hectic run around lately that I couldn't get a chance to do them yet.***
The nerd set will also still be released this month too as well! I just wanted to give you guys a little more detailed update on why I've been quiet on here and my socials! ILY!
