So last night the wind shot up to 20 knots at 11pm, and we aren't protected by any land. Straight up south westerly to our dome.
Our line that holds the rudder straight had come off/untied, so the boat was getting thrown the heck around, slamming against the water, slapping against the hulls, we could see the swell come from 2 directions so it was just ass.
Thankfully we noticed after about 20mins (poor boat tho :() we tied the rudder back on, pulled a few lines tight and toughed out the westerly asshole wind. This morning there's white caps all around us but we think it's moving to a south easterly, which we are juuust protected from.
Very much can't wait for the winds to stabilise to I can plan and organise other girls properly. We did see a boat with a pineapple on the front door, which means they're down to swing? So perhaps we will find some people on boats that wanna film with us :D anyway, imma do my wind dance and wish the blue skies back 😁
