Often times it is used as a flavouring device for various other dessert vessels such as waffles, pancakes, and sundaes. I think this is a great shame, as original banoffee pie is truly undefeated. It unfortunately seems like a rather dated dessert these days, and is more closely associated with the noughties. Happy Thursday.
