I absolutely adore his early animation so, so much…not to mention other movies in the same vein like Sleepy Hollow and Coraline. 🪡 🧸 Something about that spindly, colorful, macabre aesthetic adorned itself in my head! 🌈🖤 It made death this inevitable but enjoyable, eccentric, and even humorous stage of “life,”…or the afterlife, I should say! Anything horror and spooky-related is extremely comforting for me, I think it’s because it’s about 85% of what I watched growing up because of my mom with her gruesome tastes! Putting on The Shining or Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the background was a regular thing! Watching ghost hunting programs or “the scariest places on earth” while folding laundry too! 😂🖤 Monster movies were on literally all the time growing up, so Halloween is a year-round thing for me….but this time of year I get to stock up on all the goodies I like! 🤭🤣 horror themed notebooks, sweaters, cups, movies at discount prices! Yayyyyyyy! 🤣🦇 maybe being a creep is genetic, who knows! Haha! 😁💕
