Added 2022-05-04 02:46:09 +0000 UTCKitten update 🥺💖 We got very lucky and the vet had a same day cancellation so Lola cat was able to get spayed today and she’s recovering. I’ve always had boys cats who were easy to neuter, it’s more complicated with girls. (*Something something, Roe v Wade current events commentary, no team of men should police women’s bodies or cause violence against women etc, no energy for commentary at the moment*) … kitten is rambunctious and keeping her in the collar/recovery suit is very hard. She looks adorable in it but a bit traumatized. I can tell she’s uncomfortable in it but it’s for her own good — kitties in heat in the springtime is no joke! It’s been kind of tough having two cats having surgery back to back; Carl is recovering really well from his dental which is great. Now it’s her turn to be nursed and babied. Her scar looks so sad her belly was shaved 🥺🥺 The gabapentine should kick in soon and she’ll get drowsy and sleepy and she’s gonna chill. For a tiny cat she is a wriggler and a little criminal lol! I turned my room upside down adjusting her recovery attire. I’m so tired. On the bright side, I’m becoming somewhat of a mini-expert on animal recuperation Messages will be answered when I can! I am not ignoring anybody, this is just a sudden saga, so sorry about inactivity today/tomorrow I’ll be monitoring her We’re watching Blacklist, it’s so intense lol but it’s really good. I love the intense crime shows cause it makes me feel calm about my life in comparison. We’re gonna try and get some rest cause it was an exhausting day, and the heat cycle craziness / yowling at night was disrupting my sleep schedule and making me restless and irritable and dysfunctional on top of already stressful life shit, can’t wait to sleep again 😴
