did you know that easter was originally a celebration of spring for pagans?? many worshipped the goddess Eostra, who was the goddess of spring and fertility. her symbol was a rabbit bc of their.. ahem... high reproduction rate. eggs were also a symbol of fertility! so the easter bunny became a thing, and the bunny would hide eggs in nests, which became where easter baskets and all that came from! SO if i was your easter bunny and you caught me hiding eggs in a nest... what would you do to me? c;
