I am a woman. And, to be a woman, I don't have to do anything except just TO BE one. To be the real ME here and now, on this planet. Just to do what opens my heart. I don’t have to cook soup, to be always sweet and gentle, to inspire a man in anticipation of some "gifts" (hello Vedic gurus). I don’t have to do plastic surgery, inject “beauty” shots to always be “sexy” and fit someone’s imaginary standards. I don't have to devote my whole life to children. I can do that all of course. But I DO NOT HAVE TO. I don't have to flap my eyelashes and pretend to be silly, so that a man next to me can feel more self-confidence and “strong". Anybody can feel smart & strong next to someone silly. But a truly strong man is able to withstand true female power next to him. I am a woman, and I can be anyone. I can be both powerful and weak, sensual and strong-willed, smart or at times ignorant- there is NOTHING WRONG with all these qualities of mine. None of them are exclusively masculine or feminine - they are just about a person. And a man, too, can be anyone. A man, too, can be different. We can only learn to hear each other, to negotiate, to respect the different worlds of each other. Each of us has the right to discover and experience different facets of ourselves. Love begins when we are okay with our differences. When we can see each other beyond gender stereotypes. When both of us contribute to the couple and to the world, not because we HAVE TO, but because we CAN and we WANT. Our hearts are revealed not through the "have to" - only through "I can and I want." Because energy does not flow through the “have to”. But through "I can and I want" - it does. ⠀ I'm not here FOR my man. I’m here to be TOGETHER WITH MY MAN. To co-create the world that we'll both enjoy. On this day, I would like to wish that not programs, stereotypes, or concepts be our guides, but freedom, love, and respect for each other.
