I have a deep, deep love for forests and few things make me as relaxed as spending time in one. Second picture is from a spot where I like foraging for chanterelles. It's a big area all covered in moss that is ✨ m a g i c a l ✨ during the fall. Imagine rolling soft mossy forest floors with lots of big moss covered rocks, and old gnarly pine and fir trees. To get there you need to jump over this little brook (stream? creek? not sure which word to use here). I could spend all day there, and I have done just that several times this fall. It's getting colder here which means mushroom season is over and I won't spend as much time in the forest til spring - which is a little sad ofc, but at least I have approximately a million photos from there to look at 🌲 🌳💚
