***Birthdays are difficult for a lot of people, myself included. For personal reasons (including my privacy and safety) I’ve always been intentionally vague about my date of birth. Birthdays are an opportunity for us to celebrate with the people that we love - who cares what day we choose to do it?
Growing up, I wished for a summer birthday so that I could have a bonfire on the beach instead of huddling inside with my schoolmates like penguins in the dead of winter. Nowadays I think an autumn birthday would be ideal; a warm afternoon immersed in a sea of blazing red and yellow leaves… what could be better?
This year may be my most unique birthday yet as I’m as far away from home as I can be. In some ways it feels lonely to be away from so many people (and puppies) that I love. In other ways, it feels incredibly special. It’s an honour to spend the anniversary of my birth in such a vibrant and spiritual space.
In light of my worldly travels as of late, I’ve decided to postpone my digital birthday celebrations until January 2024 so that I can be properly present and prepared.
Please stay tuned in for a proper announcement regarding when and where my birthday festivities will be hosted. In the meantime should you wish to send a gift you can do so via wish tender or throne (gifts are never expected but always appreciated).
Here’s to another upcoming revolution around the sun, to my mother for pushing me out of the birth canal, to modern medicine, to aeroplan rewards miles, to T3s, to YOU my beloved fans, friends, and followers, and to a lifetime supply of *** 🍷 ✌️ 🎉
