Having worked in the Penthouse club in White House street, London (which opened in the late 60s). With lace detail and underwire bust. Original and matching accessories including headpiece, back bow, frilly knickers, cotton lining, cuffs and collar. Fastened with small hook clips. Penthouse magazine was founded in England in 1965 by Bob Guvcione, who passed away in 2010 and was deemed, during his life, the richest man in the USA. Penthouse brought in around $3.5 billion over its 30 year life span. Original a soft core publication, although during the 90s when adult content became more accessible and graphic, with large competitors such as Playboy - they became increasingly more hardcore. This particular, dainty example lived a fabulous life. Whilst it was expressed the wages were lacking, the tips were healthy.
