I only get one body and I’ve hated it for YEARS. Slowly and with therapy I have been learning to love my body. Today I actually liked how my body looked and felt while sitting down in my underwear and bra. I remember being a kid and hated how my body looked standing up or sitting down. I still struggle with how my body looks but I’m starting to be less harsh on my looks. I’m learning to love my body for what it is instead of what I “should” look like. My eating disorder is loud right now but not nearly as loud as it was when I was younger. I’ve had an eating disorder for years but never thought it was actually an eating disorder. Almost a year ago I started getting treatment for it and I’ve been able to see myself just a little different. Every day I’m learning about myself and my eating disorder. Every day I’m learning to cope with it and it’s FUCKING HARD.
