I learned yesterday that the party that asked me to run for office a few months ago has decided to continue recruiting in my district to primary me. While on vacation in Europe, I received a message from the guy who recruited me that some of the higher ups in the party decided they didn’t like my OF and didn’t think I could win. Now I was completely up front about my OF and they were fine with it in the beginning but someone from the opposition told them it was a bad idea to have me run against the incumbent. So why would they want the party that asked me to run to suddenly not support me? When I was insulted and refused to back down, they attempted to scare me into backing down by saying the other party would drag me and my family through the mud. I said I knew it was going to happen and I wasn’t afraid because I’ve already been open about my OF. They finally said okay we’re glad you’re running, we just wanted to make sure you knew what was coming and now we support you 100%. Meanwhile they went behind my back and recruited three more people to run against me in the primaries and stopped letting me in on meetings so I could freshen up on current issues and policies. And they didn’t tell me they had three more people until I asked yesterday. That’s bullshit. I told them today I know what they’re doing and I want nothing to do with a party that pretends to support (sex workers) while actively undermining them so they can’t participate. I said “what’s the difference between a prostitute and a politician? The prostitute doesn’t hide who they are.” And now I can get back to my OnlyFans because I don’t have that whole thing breathing down my neck. Why ask me to run, knowing I have an active OnlyFans, and then try to change me after I agree? That’s toxic. Besides, I wouldn’t be able to travel while campaigning and while in office. Nah, no thanks. $900 a week isn’t worth the chains and bullshit that comes with it. I wanted to make a difference but I’ll do it in other ways.
