I'm sorry for not responding to anyone in the comments yesterday. I was having a really hard time trying to even see straight from all the crying. I've finally been able to calm down enough today to just thank everyone for their condolences and kind words that you all left for my dog and I. I do really appreciate it and it does in fact help to hear some of your stories with your own pets passing away. Knowing that I'm not alone in this particular pain. I've lost pets before, but nothing like this. I've never had my own pet die on me, it was always the family pet that my mom or dad had gotten. I guess it hits so much different when the pet is under your wing, you know?
