Wolf's Rain
The personification of Wolves mixing with humans and a Flower maiden named Cheza who is the key to finding Paradise at the end of the world. The unlikely pack have to fight their way to the promised land while avoiding being hunted. This 30 episode early 2000s anime is one of my favorite because it always kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode. It's a highly emotional plot and excellent hybrid of a 90s anime art style while still being slightly modern in look and feel. It's a sad but satisfying ending and you don't need to pick up a manga for this one!
