I don’t like to put fans on the spot…but I wanted to highlig..

I don’t like to put fans on the spot…but I wanted to highlight this recent exchange for 2 reasons: I was in the midst of a conversation with this lady named Ana, and she asked questions and was comparing me to her boyfriend. It seemed that sexting was probably imminent, but then she suddenly blocked me on account of my virginity. This move actually surprised me and stung. The idea that purity can be so much of a negative that people will just reject you isn’t new to me, I’ve dealt with it for years. I just want to say that if you’re a creator or fan that is pure, there is nothing wrong with that! You are living the good life and you may not even realize it. Sex is beautiful but it also contains negative aspects, like loss of independence, STDs, potentially unwanted pregnancies, relationship drama, etc. Everybody should be able to wait for their time to enter the sexual realm, and not be chastised for it. My other point is that it’s not ok to treat creators this way. We’ve all heard about the disrespectful straight males out there who send unsolicited photos and lash out when they don’t get everything they want for free. That kind of behavior will never be acceptable. But neither should this. You never know the sort of emotional impact a sudden diss or rejection can have on a creator. I have a strong heart, but some here might not, or might be vulnerable at certain times. This exchange also shows that disrespect knows no gender and women can be bad fans too. Ana, I harbor no ill will towards you and I’m sure you and your boyfriend will find what you’re looking for here. Someday I know you’ll have the maturity and grace to not diss people solely because they haven’t fucked.
