I'm not sure how many of you remember, but I have a friend named Mike who has cancer. Last year I asked you all to help me so I could take him to a Leafs game, and I'm so grateful that you all pulled through and helped me do that because it was one of the best nights of my life. My friend Mike's cancer has gotten really bad, and he's been in the hospital for multiple surgeries and intense medication all week long. I just got home from visiting him in the hospital and the unfortunate reality is that things aren't looking good. I may have hugged my friend for the last time and I'm not happy about it. I'm filled with anger and sadness, but in an attempt to not let those feelings consume me, I'm trying to spread a positive message of love. Please forgive me if I'm inconsistent and unenthusiastic about posting on here and on my socials for the next little while as I attempt to heal.
