DIE (deep infiltrating endo) of the urinary system is rare and is found in about 1%–5.5% of all people with endometriosis. I had endo on BOTH ureters very early on, which is extremely uncommon and can lead to rapid bilateral renal failure, and needs lifelong monitoring Ureteral endo makes up 0.1%–0.4% of genitourinary tract endometriosis. Ureters are the second most common site of the urinary tract affected by endometriosis with a ratio of bladder/ureter/kidney/urethral endometriosis of 40:5:1:1 I also have other rare diseases, such retroperitoneal fibrosis!
