Added 2022-05-02 17:29:05 +0000 UTCI’m running my the school today to pick up my family’s graduation tickets and imma ask one of my IP professors what he thinks of this very silly copyright law hypo. And in all honesty I’m probably not going to sell the pic but I’m close enough with this professor to talk it out. My school has a REALLY renowned IP law program and I’m close with a lot of those professors because they’re chill AF. If you’re a practicing soft IP lawyer you’re gonna deal with art law and nudity on a somewhat regular basis. My entertainment law prof has represented porn stars and used to travel the world as a musician so you cannot phase than man 😂 Most of your law school exams, especially in IP, are presented as kooky hypotheticals and you have to give your opinion based on the existing law and precedent. This would be a fascinating copyright infringement/fair use hypo. I’m very excited to ask them about it
