I understand that this fear is semi rational in this industry. I’ve experienced the loss too many times before when I wasn’t constantly nurturing specific connections, and that just comes with the space, I get it. I’ve also experienced people who I’ve become significantly attached to who just leave, even when I’m completely on, without warning. that shit fucking sucks. but whenever I’m less on my ‘’A game’’, focused on work at the hospital or on recuperating and nurturing my heart and mind, I’m fighting with the fear of losing connections, so your reassuring words go such a long way. thank you for your awareness and words
