This sounds glamorous and fun, but I was miserable. I had recently had my heart broken, the other kids in my program were preppy, stuck up bitches who made me feel like I was back in high school, and my shitty French and social anxiety kept me from making friends with many locals. (I was also sleeping with a gross DJ who was way older than me, but that's a different story.) On the upside, I was one of just a few Americans who made it to the villa that SG's owners rented in the Italian countryside for the purpose of shooting content with (mostly) European models. This was a lot of fun! In addition to eating lots of pasta and chillaxing by the pool, I met cool chicks from all over Europe and felt like I fit in, if only for a few days. I also shot this photoset with an English photog/SG named Cherry. I was way into dressing like a slutty punk sch**lg*rl in those days (I was 20 and experimenting), so I came up with a cringey intro along those lines. I'm not sure how I wound up looking so yellow; most likely the Mediterranean sun reflecting off the villa's orange tiles.
