Added 2022-12-26 13:26:12 +0000 UTCMerry Christmas and an update: I wanted to give a little update. Unfortunately, here in mid-dec I woke up one morning throwing up blod. A lot of it... So much of it that I needed transfusions and a surgery (I nearly died). In the end it was an ulcer that needed to be clamped off. They claim it was due to extensive use in the long-term of NSAIDs (Advil - or Ibuprofen) - in my case I get monthly headaches and I get random bouts of swelling that I try to keep in check with these... As well - while doing their endoscopy they noticed several warning signs of advanced liver disease (hyperportal tension, esophageal varicies, elevated liver enzymes etc.)... CT scans also show what appears to be cirrhosis of the liver (advanced stage liver disease). I am not a big drinker, so I'm worried that my body mods are playing a role here with my organs. So what now? I don't know really.... I will have a liver biopsy that will confirm if fillers have made their way to my organs... Not sure if a transplant is needed or even in the cards... I will keep you guys posted... Also, when I got home from the hospital my left nut got real swole and hard and painful... It's been days of being bedridden by this (you can see it in this short clip). - I'm hoping this swelling subsidies, the last thing I need is more complications right now. Anyway, keep me in your prayers, I'm hoping this will sort out and feel far less doom and gloom in the next few weeks... This near death experience was very, very scary.
