Obviously, everyone would prefer she didn’t do this, so she offers them a deal. Sacrifice a man for her to grow to be her mate, and she’ll stop eating planets. This is done, and done quickly. But, to this mans dismay, he’s not grown very big. And Goddess Grey never intended on stopping eating planets. She just wanted someone to watch and humiliate along the way!
